Given the massive flow of illegal immigrants and narcotics trafficking and the hughe number of drug cartel members crossing the southern border, the State of Arizona, Governor Brewer, the people of Arizona and the police force deserves America's highest commendation for the remarkable courage and restraint it has exhibited with what has been and continues to be, a very critical international, domestic and security problem.
Democratic House leaders and President Obama, have and continue to conceal the fact that their health care reform bill covers illegal aliens at the expense of American taxpayers.
The grossly misnamed America’s Affordable Health Choices Act (HR 3200) combines the worst of all possible worlds: high taxpayer costs, big increases in federal deficits, disincentives for businesses to hire, and dispite what house Democrates and President Obama would have us believe, forces American tax payers to foot the cost for covering illegal immigrants, and all the while leaving up to twenty million individuals still uninsured and doing little or nothing to control runaway national health care expenditures.
Those of us who want to see racism on its way out need to realize that others benefit greatly from crying racism. They benefit politically, financially, and socially.
While racism in our country still exists, on multiple levels, as a whole that is not what is driving opposition to President Obama and his policies, Holder,or the NAACP for most people. Ideology and personal beliefs trump race in terms of what Americans will and will not support. Racism is an intimidation tactic.
