Americans Americans Betrayed By Washington
For decades our government has been lying to us. Our government, with deliberate and with malice intentions has betrayed the American people. The U.S. government clearly has no intentions of curtailing it's corruption and betrayal of the American people.
For too may years, Washington, no matter who is in control, Republicans or Democrats, has allowed our nation to be invaded by foreigners, allowed financial giants to burden the American people with a massive debt for generations to come, has allowed innocent and nieve consumers to be swindled out of their life savings and their homes, has suffocated small businesses, causing millions to loose their jobs, has litterally taken most, and in some cases, all assests Americans have, have forced the American people to, not just bailout the biggest criminals in our country, but also forced Americans to pay those same ciminals obscene bonuses for their ciminal activity.
The U.S. government has done all this in clear violation of the law. Washington has done this in clear opposition to the will of the American people.
The American people are absolutly livid with the way most institutions in our country operate, and we're appalled at the pervasive culture of corruption that's becoming a way of doing business in ALL levels of government, in big business, and even in humanitarian organizations.
We're offended and angered by the undenyable bias of the mainstream media.Worse, we're sick and tired of the way Washington insiders spin every political obsenity for public consumption, while they, (behind the scenes) scratch each other's backs to maintain the status quo.
We're tired of watching special interests, lobbiest, and the Unions use their money and power to distort, and corrupt the legislative process and buy elections. Corruption in Washington is so blatantly obvious and common place, that we're no longer shocked by it. Fact is, we EXPECT it! The corruption and ciminal activity by our government is no more shocking to us than any soap opera or "reality" shows we watch.
All of this has to change, and change RIGHT NOW! TODAY.Not the kind of change Obama promised. No, we've seen his facist, corporatist plan of change, with his hostile takeovers and minipulations of the law to promote and implement HIS idea of change....and the majority of Americans want no part of Obama's change.
Wherever we look, in every sector of our economy, at every level of government, and throughout the world of politics, it's obvious that the prevailing policies are deliberately designed to benefit an elite few at the expense of the American people.
OUR U.S. governments system of corruption has been going on for far too long. It is time to turn our democracy back into what it was intended to be: instead of continuing a government of the pampered congressmen, paid for by the lobbyists who distort and pervert the process for the benefit of greedy special interests, but a government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
In a normal, functioning, self-governing society, there would be a way to correct this problem peacefully through the ballot box. However, the U.S. is no longer a normal, functioning, self-governing society. Today, we have electonic ballot machines. These machines can be manipulated to record votes as PROGRAMED to do. Every voter should insist on a paper ballot, and this new trend of having a month long voting period is obserd! The term: "Election Day" should mean just that...an election day...not a week, month or more. The longer the voting period, the more vulnerable the system is to fraud, manipulation and corruption.
You know how we got into this mess? Because average working people, allowed it. If you support public schools, federal parks, federal roads, federally funded retirement plans, federally funded health care, federally mandated minimum wages...or any other violations of Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution, then you are part of the problem.
"To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it."
--Thomas Jefferson
We have no one to blame but ourselves for America's woes. American's are arrogantly ignorant, and you can't tell them anything. They listen to morons like the main stream media propaganda reports.
It's time for "real change", a change we have the power to accomplish. In recent years we've seen the beginnings of such a change. In 2006 American voters sent a clear message in the midterm elections, turning congress on its head, we defeated 30 incumbent Republican members of the House of Representatives and 6 Republican Senators, which ended the 10 year long majority in both of the "do nothing" unproductive houses. Then in 2008, we saw the American voters again try to impliment total change, a change in party rule.
Unfortunately, new faces don't always mean new rules. If we don't follow this shakeup with swift and serious institutional reforms, we won't have much of a revolution. Recycling the players alone won't be enough to transform the system. After all, DemocRats are hardly superior or less corrupt than Republicans, and just as the Republicans are beholding to their particular special interests, so are the Democrates.... ESPECIALLY Obama. In the 2008 the American people didn't overwhelmingly choose Obama and House and Senate Democrates because of some belief in their message. We chose them because we were tired of the same old thieves running "our" country.
In every election, we do our due diligents, consider each canidate, and vote for the one that states they believe as we do. We try to distinguish between to the "campaign" speeches and the truth, which is hard to do, because there is no "truth in campaign" statement requirements. Politicians are allowed to say what ever they want, truth be damed.
The only way socialism overtakes America is if we accept it. If we simply mope around and complain about our taxes and the government like we always have. The only way this becomes the nightmare we all fear is if we let it.
And that is exactly what they expect us to do.
"Governments that want to take over, undermine our liberties and gain more power always use the fear factor. They did this leading up to the war in Iraq, they do it on foreign policy, now they’re doing it on monetary, economic and financial problems... They do that all the time, that is their technique, always to build a tremendous fear in the hearts of the people. Terrorize the people and say that ‘we are your saviors and we’re the only ones that can take care of it’."
When we put people in office, we have to hold them accountable. We need to use the rights and powers, (few as they may be), to put real leadership back in office. We can do this by voting, and by using our power of impeachment when necessary.
It is absolutely imperative that the American people start holding politicians feet to the fire, and start governing for the people and not for special interest, lobbyist, big business or banking institutions.
The fact is, whether we are discussing Abramoff, (the lobbyist whose astonishing career as a corruptionist), or the wider tsunami of corruption by Congress, the senate, and the White House, turning Wall Street lose on American consumers, or granting power of the NSA to enter our most personal and private lives for their own twisted amusement, exporting all our jobs over sea’s, jeopardizing our safety by not securing our borders, the truth is as obvious as day light, and yet so obscured by decades of pettifoggery that we find it almost impossible to comprehend clearly the depth of greed and corruption and betrayal of Americans by our government.
Power and Politics using Fear to Betray Americans:
This fantastic misgovernment management we are witnessing today is not an accident, nor is it the work of "a few bad individuals", it is the consequence of triumph by a particular philosophy of government, by a movement that understands the liberal state as a perversion and considers the market the ideal nexus of human society. This movement is friendly tolabor unions, not just by force of campaign contributions but by conviction: it believes in entrepreneurship not merely in commerce but in politics; and the inevitable results of its ascendance are, first, the capture of the state by business and, second, all that follows; incompetence, graft, and all the other wretched flotsam that we've come to expect from Washington.
Now, what you’re seeing is the Congress ,Senate, and Obamaare daring the American people to get mad and throw them out. As David Sirota said in his first book, " Hostile Takeover", this isn’t about choosing between Republicans and Democrats; This isn't even about race or gender; this is about a bipartisan power and politics money machine working against the population, working against us, the American people. They’re daring you. They’re daring you to turn out on election days and, in essence, support challengers against incumbents, because the incumbents are the ones responsible for the financial crisis we're in right now, and for the staggering and still rising unemployment records.
